Why Your Topper Gets Wavy After Washing — And How to Keep It Perfect
Lately we’ve heard from quite a few customers: after washing their topper, the hair turns wavy. If this has happened to you, don’t worry — it’s not a quality issue. In fact, it’s proof that you’re wearing real, high-quality hair.
The slight wave you see comes from our premium Burmese hair, which naturally has a soft, beautiful texture. It’s one of the reasons our toppers look so realistic and lightweight.
Some minor hair fall after washing is also normal. All our toppers are 100% handmade, so a small amount of shedding is expected and does not affect usage or appearance.
Our professional hairstylists put together an easy, 3-step routine to help you keep your topper smooth, neat, and just how you like it.

Step 1: Comb gently, wash, and air-dry
First, comb your topper with a wide-tooth comb to avoid tangling. After washing, place it on a mannequin head or stable stand and let it air-dry naturally.

Step 2: Apply a small amount of hair oil
Once fully dry, use a tiny bit of hair oil to smooth the strands, reduce frizz, and keep the hair soft and shiny.

Step 3: Style with heat tools
Use a hair straightener or curling iron to shape your topper any way you prefer. Our real human hair holds styles beautifully and can be restyled many times.

Small care tip
Always use a wide-tooth comb and avoid pulling too hard. This will keep shedding to a minimum and make your topper last longer.

Our toppers are designed to solve thinning hair, frequent dyeing troubles, alopecia, and daily styling needs. With multiple sizes, materials, and colors available, there is always one that fits you perfectly.
