DIY Bangs Trimming Guide for Your Topper
Many customers love their topper but hope it had bangs after receiving it.
No need to exchange! Our hairstylists share a simple DIY way to trim your own bangs.
Benefits:
- Save $
- Customize the length and shape to fit your face perfectly
- Super easy to do at home
Important reminder:
Always cut a little longer first — this gives you room to adjust if needed.
Prepare Tools
Comb, scissors, spray bottle

Lightly spray the hair with water — do not soak it completely.
STEP 1
PRECISELY LOCATE THE "TRIANGLE AREA"
Use a fine-tooth comb to mark your bangs area.
Use your pupils as a guide, draw upward to the top of the head to form an inverted triangle.

STEP 2
CORRECT WAY TO CUT
Pull the triangle-section hair straight down to the tip of your nose.
Cut vertically with scissors, NOT horizontally!
Start cutting 2 cm below the eyebrows so you can adjust later.

STEP 3
PERFECT THINNING TECHNIQUE
Hold the bangs gently at the roots.
Use scissors to trim the ends at a 45° angle.
This creates a natural, light look — no heavy, fake fringe!

Now you have custom bangs made just for you!
